TheGothSide features art of a gothic, goth, dark, or macabre theme, be it vampires, characters with black clothes and lots of spiky accesories, pain/emotional expression, simply gorey, old-fashioned cathedrals, etc. All goths or other appreciators of dark art are welcome.

everyone who follows the rules can join at your leisure, there is no discrimination against other groups(furry, fantasy, mecha, etc) and you do not HAVE to submit, though it is highly encouraged
be nice
only sumbit art that is gothic, emo, dark, creepy, erie, or morbid. do not submit art with visible nudity or relating to the 'twilight' series(I don't mind if you are a twilight fan, but it isn't gothic so keep it out of this group) all forms of media are acceptable do not submit unfinished work do not submit art that uses bases, someone else's lineart, or does not belong to you. fanart is fine, though
submit your work to the correct folders. If you are not sure what goes where, look at the other deviations in each folder.
members are free to submit as much art as they have that fits the rules, but please space out your submissions so as not to spam inboxes.
anyone can suggest favorites.
do not submit more than 1 piece of art in the featured folder. if you do anyway, i will choose which one i like best and the others will go where they should be(if i can't decide, the last one you submit will be the one that stays)
members can request advancement to the 'contributor'(admin) rank if they have indeed contributed a great deal to The Goth Side.
if an administrator catches you breaking the rules, you will be warned ONCE. if you continue to break the rules, I will banish you and all you've contributed from the group.
all suggestions, questions, and complaints should be noted, not commented, to the group.
This is a reminder to all our members that the featured folder is meant to contain only ONE work from each member, the one you choose that you believe is your very best. If you would like to update the featured folder with a new deviation, please remove your previous featured deviation and resubmit it in the proper regular gallery folder. We currently have multiple works in the featured folder from single artists, and while we the admins will go through it and remove old deviations on our own, it is a big pain in the @$$. If you know you have been submitting multiple works to the featured folder, please go through your gallery and remove/reupload them.
